We work out what you actually need
Before anything gets designed, I want to understand the business: who you're speaking to, what you want them to do, and what has been getting in the way. Plenty of sites fail because this step gets skipped.
Websites, designed and built to be lived with.
Kingston, Ontario — Working worldwide
What I do
One service, done properly. I design the site and I build the site — there is no handoff, no template being bent into shape, and no one to point at when something doesn't work. You talk to the person doing the work.
How it works
No long contracts and no mystery. You always know which step we're on and what happens next.
Before anything gets designed, I want to understand the business: who you're speaking to, what you want them to do, and what has been getting in the way. Plenty of sites fail because this step gets skipped.
I design the pages and show you real layouts — not vague mockups you have to imagine your way into. We adjust together until it feels right. Changing your mind here costs nothing, which is why this step exists.
The site gets built to be fast, to work on a phone as well as a desktop, and to be usable by people relying on a screen reader or a keyboard. These aren't extras I add at the end — they're how it gets made.
I build the website. Then you choose; I host and maintain it, or everything gets handed over to you.
Why work with me
I'm a university student running this independently, which shapes the whole arrangement honestly: my rates are flexible and deliberately affordable, because what I need most right now is work I'm proud to show. That's a real advantage to you, and I'd rather say it plainly than dress it up.
What it doesn't mean is corner-cutting. It means you get someone who cares a great deal how your site turns out, because it goes in front of every client I speak to after you. My incentives and yours point the same direction.
